Let’s Increase Our Positivity!

Sharing is caring!

When you hear the term “positivity rate” today, sadly, it may invoke negative thoughts. That’s clearly understandable, considering there are different types of positivity. As you will see in this post, I am not referring to the pandemic.

Currently there are a lot of terrible things taking place. There’s no need to mention them individually.  Many are suffering in one way or another. While we are dealing with some really difficult times right now, in my experience, having a positive viewpoint, at least as positive as possible, can help get us through.

For instance, the other day I stepped on a rusty nail in my back yard, which went into my foot. Sure, it hurt, but I forgot about it immediately after being stung in each arm by two yellow jackets, ten minutes later. My wife asked if I had received my tetanus shot recently. I had, so no worry about lockjaw. Of course, if I developed lockjaw, my wife, if it was not not long-term.

Sometimes, it is difficult, if not impossible to see the positive in a negative situation. This post is not meant to make light of some of the horrible things we are dealing with. However, there are little things that can make us smile and help us to not be consumed by all the bad things taking place right now.

In this post, I am going to take a break from real estate and share with you some potentially negative things that my warped mind put a funny spin on. A little humor in some situations can’t hurt! (I think) When going through your week, see if you can find a little humor in negative things, if appropriate.

Feel free to comment below if you would like to share anything that you have observed in life, that you can put a positive spin on. Clearly, some things are no laughing matter. But hopefully these pictures will make you laugh.

I hope you enjoy this comedic break from reality!

Here’s a little something for the multi-taskers out there. It also reminds me that it’s probably time to schedule another colonoscopy.

Apartments with better views are available. Units on floors 17 & 18 are delighted to regularly receive unexpected deliveries.

It has never been a safer time to pass gas on an elevator.

Passing Gas

That’s all I have for this week’s post. If you smiled or laughed, at least once, I feel like this post has been a success! I truly hope you found some of these to be funny. As your driving around, look for things and situations that you can put a funny spin on.

This post is a little shorter than normal for several reasons. My work schedule has very busy due to the hot real estate market we are in. That’s a good thing! Additionally, my family and I are preparing for our nieces’ wedding. It’s been scaled way down to just a small group of family, outside, wearing masks and keeping ourselves distant. Nonetheless, there is a lot to do to get ready.

My next post will be a little more substantive.

I leave you with an amazing video that shows how some use Ramen noodles to repair things. It really is amazing!

Have a great long weekend everyone! Be safe out there!

  1. Being positive in life makes a huge difference. It’s not always easy to do. I think it’s much easier on paper. But it’s critical. Here’s to making today an incredible day.
